Membership
Membership to Shropshire Partners In Care is open to all independent sector providers of care. SPIC is committed to ensuring its members offer equal opportunities to all and do not discriminate on the grounds of sex, colour, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status or disability.
Shropshire Partners In Care is committed to working with the statutory and regulatory authorities to ensure that the highest standards are achieved.
Members shall conduct themselves in such a manner as to bring no discredit on themselves, the membership or the organisation.
Care companies and proprietors shall be entitled to one vote per registered member.
The aims of the organisation are:
- To represent the interests of care companies, proprietors and service users.
- To use its best endeavours to effect and maintain high standards of care.
- To make representations to any such body whose function may at any time have an effect on the welfare of the members of the association, their clients and service users.
