CRB Service over the 2009 Christmas Period

Please be aware that the usual CRB service will be interrupted
over the Christmas period.

Customers are advised that between Christmas and New Year’s Day, some of
the services provided by the CRB will be temporarily unavailable. Following six
years of uninterrupted service, it is now necessary for the CRB to carry out
routine maintenance on its systems. This has been planned to coincide with one
of their quietest periods and will therefore minimise the impact on customers.
The following services will be unavailable between 25th December 2009
and 3rd January 2010 inclusive:

• The Online Tracking service
• The ISA Adult First service
• The Disputes service
• Application processing

The CRB Customer Service call centre will continue to operate during their
usual Christmas opening hours over this period, details of which are
included below.

• Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December 08:00 - 17:00
• Christmas Day, Friday 25 December Closed
• Boxing Day, Saturday 26 December Closed
• Sunday 27 December Closed
• Monday 28 December (Bank Holiday) Closed
• Tuesday 29 December 08:00 - 17:00
• Wednesday 30 December 08:00 - 17:00
• New Year's Eve, Thursday 31 December 08:00 - 17:00
• New Year's Day, Friday 1 January 2010 Closed
• Saturday 2 January 2010 10:00 - 17:00
• Sunday 3 January 2010 Closed
• Monday 4 January 2010 onwards Business As Usual

During this period, the CRB will be unable to progress any applications and
therefore, customers have been advised not to submit any new
applications during this period.
