Adult Protection Awareness Training
Aims: To provide an introduction to issues concerning protection of vulnerable adults, and an overview of the Multi-Agency Adult Protection Policy required by ‘No Secrets’
Cost: £15 Voluntary and Independent Sector / £60 Out of County Organisations
Times: Course is 3 ½ Hours usual runs between 9.30am – 1.00pm or 1.00pm – 4.30pm

Adult Protection for Provider Managers
Aims: To clarify your job role and responsibility in managing the Adult Protection referral process.
Cost: £40 Voluntary Sector / £45 Independent Sector / £100 Out of County Organisations.
Times: All Day, 9.30am – 4.30pm
Professional Boundaries in Social Care and Health
Aims: To develop an understanding of what professional boundaries are and how to put them into practice when supporting service users and patients.
Cost: £20 Voluntary sector / £25 Independent, Housing, Acute Hospital, T&W PCT and T&W Council / £60 Out of county organisations

Dignity in Care and Health
Aims: To provide an introduction to the concept of dignity.
To promote good practice ensuring that all people who access support services are treated with dignity and respect.

Common Induction Standards Training 2011
Aims: The refreshed standards are now being delivered including Standard 5 Principles for Implementing Duty of Care and Standard 6 Principles of Safeguarding in Health and Social Care. Common Induction Standards (CIS) training courses are modular and certificates will be issued for each one, however there is an expectation that learners will access all three and a half days training covering the 8 CIS standards.
