Who is the course aimed at?

This diabetes training course aims to improve delegates knowledge and understanding of
diabetes. A vital course for any staff members working with those with diabetes.

What does the course cover?

The course will give clear understanding of the signs and symptoms is essential to being able
to identify the signs of a diabetic attack and teach best practise in dealing with an
emergency.

This course improves learners understanding and awareness of diabetes, associated medication and its administration.

However, it is the responsibility of the delegate (with the support of their manager) to arrange a clinical mentor (i.e. Registered General Nurse or District Nurse) to delegate, supervise, support and assess the administration of insulin and blood glucose monitoring following course completion.
