- Overview of the Care Act safeguarding provisions and Safeguarding adults: multi-agency policy and procedures for the West Midlands

- Identify relevant legislation
- Explain the safeguarding statutory principles and the Making Safeguarding
- Personal Agenda
- Identify relevant safeguarding adults process and systems
- Describe how Trustees are accountable for Safeguarding
- Explain how Trustees assure themselves that the Senior Management Team is
accountable - Define how to embed good safeguarding practice across the organisation
- Identify Charity Commission requirements
- Summarise local safeguarding adults procedures
