Karen Littleford

Karen has worked for Shropshire Partners in Care since 2005, having previously worked in social care roles with children, young people and adults. Karen delivers a wide range of training courses. She also represents SPiC on the Keeping Adults Safe in Shropshire Board (KASiSB) and all Sub Groups, Chairs the Learning and Development Sub Group and is an Officer of the Board. Karen organises the Networking Opportunity for Trainers Support Meetings and Safeguarding Adults Forum meetings (a collaborative project between SPiC, Shropshire and Telford CCG’s, local authorities and Safeguarding Adults Boards).

Karen holds a MA in Safeguarding Adults: Law, Policy and Practice (Distinction) from Keele University. She also has the following professional qualifications,
ILM Level 3 Qualification in Mentoring, Qualified Teaching Learning and Skills (QTLS) Post Compulsory Education (Cert Ed) Karen holds membership with the Society of Education and Training (QTLS) and Action on Elder Abuse. In October 2018 Karen commenced Advanced Teacher Status professional status with the Society for Education and Training.

Karen is able to offer support and signposting to providers regarding safeguarding matters.
