Karen Littleford

Karen has worked for Shropshire Partners in Care since 2005, having previously worked in social care roles with children, young people and adults. Karen delivers a wide range of training courses. She also represents SPiC at the Keeping Adults Safe in Shropshire Network (KASiSN) Executive Group and other Sub Groups and is currently working with the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership to  bring the Adults and Children’s Learning and Development Sub Groups together. Karen organises the Networking Opportunity for Trainers Support Meetings and Safeguarding Adults Forum meetings (a collaborative project between SPiC, Shropshire and Telford CCG’s, local authorities and Safeguarding Adults Partnerships).

Karen holds an MA in Safeguarding Adults: Law, Policy and Practice (Distinction) from Keele University. She also has the following professional qualifications, ILM Level 3 Qualification in Mentoring, Advanced Teacher Status (ATS), Chartered Teacher Status (CTeach) and Post Compulsory Education (Cert Ed). Karen is a Fellow of the Society of Education and Training (FSET) and a member of Hour Glass.

Karen is able to offer support and signposting to providers regarding safeguarding matters.
