Nicky Jacques

Nicky joined Shropshire Partners in Care in 2014, initially as the Care Liaison Officer and then appointed as Chief Officer in 2015. Within her role as Chief Officer Nicky works with the Board to deliver the strategic objectives of Shropshire Partners in Care and is responsible for the overall operational management of the organisation. A key focus of her role is to represent Members at a strategic level with Local Authorities, CCGs and local NHS ensuring that the care sector is consistently represented in a strong, positive and professional manner and is engaged in a meaningful way.

Nicky is a registered mental health nurse, working for many years as a community mental health nurse before moving into management roles within Shropshire, including managing Intermediate Care Services, Community Hospitals and Community Nursing Services.  Nicky has gained various professional qualifications including BSc(Hons)in Community Mental Health Nursing, PG Certificate in Management in a Health Care Environment and has an Advanced Lean/Six Sigma Project Management qualification. Nicky‚Äôs clinical and professional experience has provided her with relevant skills to enable her to support Shropshire Partners in Care and its Members to have a strong voice and to be influential in the development of the care sector locally.
