All independent sector social care and health providers (Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin)

What does the course cover?

The forum aims to promote awareness of good practice around safeguarding adults, including Making Safeguarding Personal, the application of the Mental Capacity Act, the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and the Prevent agenda.
An opportunity to receive information, identify existing tools, share good practice and increase awareness of safeguarding related matters and challenges.

Attendance at the forum is an opportunity to receive information, identify existing tools, share good practice and increase awareness of safeguarding related matters and challenges.

You will need to register your interest for this forum via email or phone. If you are allocated a place you will be contacted prior to the forum.

To register your interest for the Forum on 17th October 2019, you will need to email dwarman@spic.co.uk by 6th September, if you are allocated a place you will be notified on Friday 13th September. Attendance at the forum is free but 72 hours’ notice of cancellation is required, otherwise there will be a non-attendance fee of £10.00 charged (delegate names can be changed if the original attendee cannot attend). Places per organisation may be limited if there is high demand.
